From Superosity Wiki
Welcome to Wiki Superosity!
Without the inspiration and support of Chris Crosby, the creator of Superosity, co-CEO of Keenspot Entertainment, and all-around paragon of humanity, Wiki Superosity wouldn't exist. While this Wiki was not Chris Crosby's idea, he was immensely generous in setting up this site and hosting it on his company's servers. Thanks Chris.
Unlike Superosity itself, which is the product of a single genius, Wiki Superosity will be an open collaboration. Your contributions are welcome- whether you're a new fan, or have been reading for the last ten years. That goes for the direction of Wiki Superosity as well. No single person will determine the course of this ship.
As with Wikipedia, we expect that you treat each other with respect, that you assume good faith, and that you accept that every article is open to everyone. In fact, as far as etiquette goes, whatever goes for Wikipedia goes for Wiki Superosity too.
Please add whatever you think needs to be said in this space.
Remember, you are welcome here.
It is time to discuss how to begin.
What should be the focus of the first 100 articles?
- I think it would be useful to get stub pages for the major characters set up. We can add a lot of dead links to as-of-yet unwritten articles so that the wiki can grow organically. --Zgeycp 19:22, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- I concur. Deepskyfrontier 21:50, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
What shall we do for a wiki logo?
- Something involving Boardy, probably. Boardy is the most iconic of the Superosity main cast, and his thorough, studious nature would make a good symbol for our endeavors. --Zgeycp 19:22, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- I like the idea of Boardy being included. I think Chris needs to be on there too. Together they summarize the full scope of Superosity. I'm sure there are lots of strips out there that we could choose from. Alternately, it could be something analogous to the wikipedia "incompleteness egg." And, once again, I actually think that the best person for the job is... Chris himself. Deepskyfrontier 21:59, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
At what point do we ask Chris to tell the world about our project so they can join in? Do we wait until there's something established, or do we promote early? Deepskyfrontier 04:17, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
- I think we should have a small number of pages on major and minor Superosity arcana before we get a link, so that there's something for people to build on when they get here. An empty wiki can be pretty intimidating! --Zgeycp 19:22, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- Writing a wiki is a daunting, enormous process. At this early point, we need to go slow to avoid being overwhelmed by the size of the task and to avoid burn-out. This should be fun, not work. It'll take some time to get into the swing of things. Don't force it. Just do what comes naturally. Deepskyfrontier 04:52, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
- I've created and written a couple of pages about some of the most important Superosity characters like Alan and Barton. My english isn't the best since I'm from the same country as Jork so I apologize for any errors. Superosity really deserves it's own Wiki so I try to help as much as I can. SuperCoco 19:02, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, it is a time-honored practice to leave grammatical, spelling, and factual errors in wiki articles. It helps to encourage participation from others down-the-line! Deepskyfrontier 22:13, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
I have killed the spammer using the IP address 89.248.162.208. I tracked him down at his home in Romania and beat him to death with a balloon animal in the shape of a baseball bat. It took days and days before he finally died of his extremely light, but very numerous bruises. WikiSysop 10:09, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
